With Simple Infobric Reader you can easily register cards at your site by using Simple Infobric Reader and a USB card reader, or use biometrics with a fingerprint reader. Follow these steps to install the software:
Installation of Simple Infobric Reader
Simple Infobric Reader works on Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11 (64- and 32-bit). If you are working via remote desktop (e.g. via Citrix), you should run the installation on your local computer instead.
Download:
Install the software. Note that installation requires administrator privileges. If you don't have these, contact your IT support.
Start the card reading program by clicking on your Start menu and search for Infobric SIR.
Plug in the card reader to the computer. If you have a laptop with a dock, plug the reader directly into the computer.
It may take up to a minute for the program to establish contact with the reader.
When the reader is connected, you are ready to read.
If you want to read CSCS cards, select settings in the Simple Infobric Reader (SIR) menu bar and ensure Enable CSCS Card Support is checked.
Can't find the reader in the program? You may also need to install a driver.
Installation of driver for card registrations
In most cases, a driver is automatically installed and Simple Infobric Reader can then establish contact with your USB reader. If this is not the case, you can install a driver manually. Check the list below to find the correct driver for your reader. Check the model number on the back.

The driver is adapted for Windows 8, 10, and 11 (64-bit) which most users use. For a different type of system, choose from this list:

NOTE! This reader cannot be used to read ID06 cards.
