A geofence is a digital area that you define in Site to ensure that your employees are physically present within the work area when checking in.
If an employee is outside the defined area, a map will be displayed in the app with instructions to move into the area to complete the check-in.
Check-out is not affected by the geofence and can be done from anywhere.
Geofence is included in the Standard and Plus product packages.

How to do it
Go to site.infobric.com
Select the site where the geofence should be used
Click Site settings in the menu
Select Ease CheckIn
Check the option Require presence inside geofence for check-in
Click Create and edit geofence
Click Add new geofence
Use the map to draw the boundaries of your geofence:
-Click once on the map and drag to start drawing
-Click again to change direction
-Continue until the area is complete
-Finish by clicking on the starting pointClick OK
Click Save and close

Add a margin of 100 meters to your geofence to make check-in easier in areas with poor GPS reception.
For best results, users should be outdoors to ensure a stronger GPS signal.
