Anti-passback

Updated today

Anti-passback is a setting that defines the waiting time required before the same card can be used again for access.

If a card is scanned on a unit, it cannot be used again for passage within the time frame set in Infobric Site.

Important

Do not set the Anti-passback time too long.
If a person is unable to pass through a gate on the first attempt, they should not have to wait too long before trying again.

Enable Anti-passback on a Unit

How to do it

  1. Go to site.infobric.com

  2. Select the site

  3. Click Units in the main menu

  4. Double-click the unit you want to configure

  5. Click Admittance

  6. Set the desired time under the Anti-passback function

  7. Click Save and close

  8. Click Update Units (top right) to apply the changes

Inactivate Anti-passback for a Specific Person

If you want to disable Anti-passback for an individual:

  1. Double-click the person

  2. Go to Advanced

  3. Check Inactivate Anti-passback

  4. Click Save and close

  5. Click Update Units in the top menu

The setting is now applied for that specific person.
