When you read a card on an Infobric unit to check in or out on a site there are a number of error messages you can encounter. Below is a description of them and what action you need to take to solve the issue in question.

CARD BLOCKED – CARD IS BLOCKED AT ID06
Explanation: This message is displayed if the unit gets information that the ID06 card is blocked in the ID06 database.
NOTE! From the 22nd of January 2020 this error message is shown for all old ID06 cards.
Suggested action: Use ID06 card control to verify that the card is actually blocked. For questions regarding blocked cards please refer to the card manufacturer supplying the card.

CARD BLOCKED – CARD IS BLOCKED BY SITE
Explanation: This message is displayed if the unit gets information that the card is blocked in Infobric Ease.
Suggested action: The site administrator can remove blocked status by opening person card in Infobric Ease, choose Block, and then Remove blocking of card.

CARD NOT ACTIVATED – ACTIVATE CARD AT ID06
Explanation: This message is displayed if the unit gets information that the ID06 card is inactive in the ID06 database.
Suggested action: Card holder needs to activate card at the ID06 Portal. Please note that it may take a few hours before it is synchronized to the unit.

CARD TYPE NOT ALLOWED
Explanation: This message is displayed if the site only allows a certain type of card standard, for example ID06, and user is trying to read another type of card.
Suggested action: Use correct card type. If not available, refer to card manufacturer and order correct card.

IN / OUT IF APPROVED – CONTROL PERFORMED
Explanation: This message is shown the first time a card is read on a site. By that, the card is checked for validity. This happens when the person is added to the staff ledger in Infobric Ease, and not directly when card is read.
Suggested action: No action required. When the check is completed all card readings will work as normal provided that the card is activated at ID06.

FAILED CARD READING – KEEP THE CARD CLOSE AND STILL
Explanation: If the unit is unable to read your card completely the first time it is registered on a site this message is shown. It indicates that the unit haven’t been able to read all the information on the card or that you are trying to use a card type that is not supported.
Suggested action: Try again, this time holding the card closer to the card reader. Hold for at least 10 seconds. Try both IN and OUT.

REGISTRATION DENIED – CONTACT SITE FOR REGISTRATION
Explanation: This message is shown when you try to register a card on site that doesn’t allow cards to be added automatically by reading card on unit.
Suggested action: The site administrator adds users and assigns permissions. Please contact the site administrator and ask to be added to the site and assigned the appropriate permissions

REGISTRATION DENIED – CONTACT SITE
Explanation : This message is shown when you are trying to read your card on a site you do not have permission to enter.
Suggested action : Contact the site administrator and ask to be added to the site and assigned the appropriate permissions.

CARD EXPIRES SOON
Explanation : Your card is only valid for a certain amount of time. This message will be shown if there is less than 30 days until it expires.
Suggested action : Contact card manufacturer to order a new ID06 card.

EXPIRY DATE HAS PASSED
Explanation : Your card is only valid for a certain amount of time. If your card has expired, this message is shown.
Suggested action : Contact card manufacturer to order a new ID06 card.

WRONG PIN CODE
Explanation: You have typed the wrong pin code.
Suggested action: Try again. Contact the site administrator if it still doesn't work or if you have forgotten your pin code.

UNIT IS OFFLINE
Explanation: Unit has lost contact with Infobric Ease.
Suggested action: Normally no action is required. If problem remains, please contact us at 036 – 34 03 02 for more information. All registrations are saved on the unit and transferred to Infobric Ease once the unit is online.
